Outside the window there is a magical landscape of smooth round boulders rising over a frozen sea of Joshua Trees. The trail outside the front door wanders down into the canyon where there are hundreds of ancient rock engravings. Take the path further and it leads to the back trails of the Joshua Tree National Park. Follow alongside the road down the hill and the cafe, stores, restaurants and bakery at the bottom are all easily reached. One can go from civilization to wilderness, from the present to the distant past, from this culture to another one all on foot. And we have a guestroom. It is such an amazing place it compels us to invite you to enjoy it.
