This is a 2-bedroom villa (with full/all-equipped kitchen, gas fireplace, and many other amenities) at the phenomenal Marriott Desert Springs (JW Marriott) property, and it's for December 21-28. (7 nights). And it gets even better: I'm playing Santa and letting it go for less than half the going price for this holiday week (see hotels.com or marriott site to verify).

This is in the Desert Springs Villas II in Palm Desert (the heart of the desert, between Palm Springs and La Quinta). Keep the full villa open or use it as a one bedroom and lockoff studio.

While staying at the Villas, you can enjoy any of 7 pools, hot spas, a fitness center, a Starbucks/marketplace, The Grill cafe, or La Cantina bar at the main pool. Free shuttles circle the property, so guests of my villa can also easily enjoy the adjacent Desert Springs Marriott Resort, with its gorgeous fairways, tennis facilities and pro lessons, an exquisite and recently renovated world-class spa, a hip lobby bar, the desert's hot dance club (Costas), and several dining options, including some of the desert's best Japanese and Italian.

The villas are conveniently located near Palm Springs, Rancho Mirage, Indian Wells, and La Quinta, so you can visit the Living Desert, have your taste of winter by ascending the 10,000 foot Mt. San Jacinto in a 360-degree rotating tramway, shop for gifts at the world-renowned Desert Premium Outlets in Cabazon or on El Paseo or at the River, and golf at any of the desert's 120+ courses.
