This spacious, mid-century detached condo is fully furnished is currently available for rent on a weekly and monthly rentals effective October 1st, 2009 within a gated North Palm Springs complex..

The Garden Villas at the Racquet Club condo was designed by William Cody, master architect in 1959 and has been completely updated and rehabilitated in recent years. It is located adjacent to the world famous, renowned and historic Racquet Club where many movie stars were discovered! Previous residents at the Racquet Club have included Marilyn Monroe, Humphrey Bogart, Lucille Ball and Desi Arnez, Cary Grant, Mikey Rooney and Tyrone Power. It is an ideal home for an individual or couple. As a Vacation Rental, the property sleeps four individuals. It is a quiet, secure, beautifully landscaped complex with a stream and draw bridges that run through the property and a view of the snow-capped San Jacinto Mountains.

Inside, the condo features two full bathrooms, (one with a walk-in shower, the other with a spa tub), an updated kitchen, large living room/dining room, a terrific master bedroom with Japanese furnishings and shoji screens. The European styled murphy bed in the living room provides accomodations for two guests. The dwelling unit contains three private patios, a utility room with a stackable washer and dryer and a zoned HVAC system (for the front and back of the house), an office and two large closets and contemporary lighting and fixtures. This condo has a dedicated carport located near the condo and guest parking immediately adjacent to the condo. Additionally, this complex contains 36 units, features an Olympic-size swimming pool, jacuzzi, cabana and an additional commercial washer and dryer at the poolhouse. All of these community facilities are just twenty steps from the condo. Saturday Night potlucks and "B" Hollywood movies by the pool occur on a bi-weekly basis and are always fun events!


The condo is DSL/Broadband, Cable and Land-line available. The owner is a responsible individual and takes great pride in this property which is in excellent condition. The condo can also be potentially delivered unfurnished to a long term tenant. However, the owner would prefer to maintain the mid-century furniture and kitchen and linens furnishings in place for Vacation Rentals. Pursuant to Racquet Club HOA guidelines, a long-term tenant may not installed a satellite dish on or near the dwelling unit without the owner and HOA's permission and approval.
