charming vacation rental downtown palm springs 650 2bd

(My Original Blog Post: http://ping.fm/SK35b)
coming to palm springs? located in the historic tennis club neighborhood and surrounded by much more expensive boutique hotels, and only three blocks to the heart of downtown palm springs, you find this charming spanish-style condo. there are two bedrooms, two bathrooms, two televisions, clothes washer and dryer, microwave and a private patio with fruit trees and close-up mountain view. what sets this condo apart from other condos are a couple of things. this is a small complex, only four units - and it's very quiet (except when there is a wedding at the hotel next door - but that's happy noise!) architecturally it is very interesting with a beamed and vaulted ceiling in the living room, for example. on the downside, the spa and pool area is to be redone next year so right now the spa is not working and the pool is not heated. in the condo i provide a list of nearby resorts that have day passes where you can use their pools and spas. often when someone rents a condo or house in palm springs and wants a heated pool, they have to pay extra - and it's not cheap - so using a day pass at a resort is a recommended option. also, staying at this condo is inexpensive (only $650 a week until December 15) - and much nicer than staying in a hotel. the condo is pefect for older people as there are no stairs and there are grab bars in the shower and in the bathtub - and there is no need for an automobile as restaurants are nearby. the bus stop for the Sun Bus which takes you all over the Palm Springs and the valley for less than $3.00 for an all-day pass is also nearby. the condo is not appropriate for young children as there is no safety guard around the spa and pool. here is the link with more photos and calendar to check for availabillity: http://ping.fm/i8D5A

feel free to email me if you have any questions or contact McLeans Vacation Rental directly. thank you.
