The City of Palm Springs is sending out fake rental inquiries for short term rentals so that they can entrap you and collect fees and taxes. Beware. If you are registered and allowed to rent short term, good luck. If not, beware of their nasty little game and trap. They really should be doing something more productive with their time and city tax dollars. It is such a shame.
