Second floor. Private entrance. Turn of 19th century home on the Indian River. Use of canoe, white water or sea kayaks are included in rent. About 45 minute (tide with you) paddle to Hammonasett State Beach. Town beach and Cedar Island a closer kayak.
Five minute walk to the train station and restaurants in town center. The Coffee Pot draws locals for breakfast from surrounding towns. Malone's, in the old library building, is the local hangout for lunch. Grand Apizza has thin crust Sicilian pizza (bacon & clam a central CT classic), stuffed breads, calzones etc. Food, music and drink at Chips. More formal dining and seafood at Aqua restaurant a mile away at the marina.
